[11:23:01] kenbolton: working too hard, but getting there. eye on that retirement.
[11:23:29] waltd3: still at website security verifier company?
[11:25:46] kenbolton: ha, is that what we do? yeah, still with them. we just signed a couple of big contracts and have a few more coming in.
[11:26:04] kenbolton: i switched to emacs about a month ago from vim. that is probably the most exciting change.
[11:26:22] kenbolton: specifically, spacemacs evil mode.
[11:26:30] waltd3: you like it better?
[11:26:53] kenbolton: all the power of vi, all the flexibility of emacs.
[11:27:19] kenbolton: its fun. the git plugins for vim, for instance, all feel half-baked compared to the vim integrations in emacs.
[11:28:16] kenbolton: rainbow parentheses in vim suck compared to those in emacs. makes chained python methods pretty easy to decipher.
[11:28:40] kenbolton: reverse that, the emacs git integrations are better.
[11:29:03] kenbolton: if you are looking for a brain-expanding experience, i recommend it.
